It’s national water day today! Have you had a glass of water? If you feel thirsty, you’ve already lost over 1% of your total water amount. There’s an easy fix. Have another glass of water.
I (Litsa) sometimes tend to reach for something to eat when I’m feeling thirsty—and after I’ve eaten said item, I still feel as if I need something! Usually that something is a glass of water! If I stop to think through if I’m hungry and/or thirsty, nine times out of ten, I’m just thirsty. A half a glass…..a bottle of water….a tall glass or lemon infused water…….water added to my green juice…..
If I drink up, I’m thoroughly satisfied. That’s easy for me because I have always enjoyed fresh, clean water. I’m a drinker from sun up to sun down. I enjoy water year round too. Do I count the glasses of water? No.
I just enjoy drinking water.
What about you? Do you enjoy your water intake or is it a chore!?! Enjoy a glass of water today. Plain. Infused with essential oils—-a slice of lemon or special ice cubes–drink up! Water is what our bodies need to regulate many functions.
