Green smoothies and green juices are all the rave—you can make them with any number of ingredients but I chose to add some tropical flavor to mine this morning! Check it out! Delicious & good for you!
I used a single serve blender to create my smoothie, but you could easily double or triple the ingredients in a blender if making for more than one or freeze left overs for future consumption. Add chia seeds to your smoothie for extra protein!
- ¾-1 cup skim milk (or any liquid you prefer---fruit juice, almond milk, soy milk etc.)
- Handful of baby spinach (approximately ½-¾ cup)
- ¼ cup fresh pineapple chunks
- ¼ cup fresh mango chunks
- ½ banana, sliced
- ½-1 tbsp chia seeds
- 3-4 ice cubes
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve & enjoy!
