We all know that green vegetables are essential for a healthy diet. I strive to eat green produce every day. One of my favorite ways to incorporate greens is with a spinach salad for lunch! Of course I love juicing too. As far as my kiddos go, incorporating greens is a bit tougher. They do like salad but we are on the go so much it can be cumbersome to chop those veggies.
Evolution Fresh makes it easy to add greens into your diet with their line of cold-pressed juices. There are no added colors or flavors in their juice. Plus the cold-pressed process protects the nutrients and flavor in raw fruits and vegetables. To help my boys get enough greens, I made popsicles out of Super Green and Coconut Water and Greens.
For the Super Green popsicles I add fresh blueberries to the popsicle mold. My boys love frozen fruit and they love popsicles! By using Evolution Fresh juice, I know they are getting needed vitamins and minerals and not sugar and high fructose corn syrup found in many ice pops.
The Coconut Water and Greens was not as sweet of a juice as the Super Green. I decided to add champagne mango to the popsicle mold. The sweet mango gave the ice pops a nice flavor. This ice pop was very refreshing on a hot day!
Really any fruit would pair well with Evolution Fresh juices. It is so easy to turn these nutrient rich juices into a refreshing treat. No, I’m not telling my kids their dessert popsicle is really green veggies in disguise!
Evolution Fresh Green Juices can be found at more than 7,200 Starbucks locations and at over 6,000 grocery retailers like Whole Foods. To find a retailer near you checkout this link: http://www.evolutionfresh.com/locations/.
How about you, how do you plan on adding green into your families daily meal plan?
