Whew! What a weekend of cooking! Since our freezer went out we had hamburger meat, chicken and a whole turkey that needed attention. Plus I had a whole bushel of apples to put up. So between Saturday and Sunday I made the following:
Homemade Meatballs
Homemade Chicken Nuggets
Slow Cooker Chili Beans
Cornbread
Apple Pie Filling (13 quarts)
Applesauce (18 pints)
Cooked down apple peels and cores to make 5 qrts of juice that will become apple jelly this week
Roasted a Turkey
Mashed Potatoes
Thank goodness I am back to work today as my kitchen needs a break!

Tuesday- Turkey Enchiladas
Wednesday- Spaghetti with Italian Sausage (a break from the turkey!)
Thursday– Turkey Sandwiches on the run (soccer practice)
Friday– Italian Sausage Lasagna Rollups
