Memories of my childhood are usually spurred by traditions. We spent every Christmas Eve with my maternal grandparents. The food was pretty much the same – a self serve buffet of cold cuts and salads. It is one of my fondest memories of Christmas. It was a stable event in a sometimes chaotic life. Family traditions are important to start due to the memories they create. A tradition that my boys have with their aunt and uncle is to receive Christmas PJ’s! Each year, they receive their new PJ’s a week or so before Christmas. They are always Christmas themed, warm and fuzzy! Perfect for a cold December night!
