Our beloved border collie mix, Sydney, is 12 years old. She is so lucky that we adore her! One of her biggest hangups is that she is scared to death of thunderstorms.
We were away when a big storm rolled in. Sydney ran to our neighbors house to seek shelter. My neighbor called my cellphone to ask what she should do with her. Since hubby had refinished the hardwood floors last year, he didn’t want her in the house while we were gone. Sydney runs around like a crazed dog when the thunder rolls.
So, we told our neighbor to put Sydney in the garage since we would be home in an hour or so.
That turned out to be a big mistake!
My car was parked in the garage. For some reason, Sydney decided that climbing on the car was going to protect her from the storm.
It was hard to get pictures in the bright sunlight. However, there are scratch marks all over the hood and front fenders. Apparently she also climbed on top of my car because there are a few paw prints on top with additional scratches.
Oh yes, she is so lucky that we love her!
Now to get the scratches out, or at least better. Anyone have any suggestions?

Renae take it to a shop. They can buff out most of those. I bet your Hubby with his skill at running a buffer might be able to read up on it and possibly do it himself. But, if you want to be totally safe, take it to a reputable shop.

Hi Ann!
This poor car has been through so much already with paint jobs! Sad thing is it is only 3 years old. A dear ran into the side of my car last year so we had the body shop take out the dents and repaint. Unfortunately, the color was sooooo hard to match. They ended up painting it like 4 times before they got it decent. Even with the color code from the dealership, it was difficult to get it right. I will probably just see what hubby can do to buff out some of the scratches. Darn dog!!!
