Teen Gift Idea: Tool Box and Starter Tools

Hubby and I struggled to think of gifts for our teen nephews this year. An acquaintance of mine gave me a great idea last week. The idea is to build a tool box for the teen so when they are ready to move out, they have their own set of tools. Start by giving a tool box and then each year you can add to the collection. We decided to do this for one of our nephews this year and the other three will most likely get their tool boxes next year!

I found the above Stack-On 16″ Tool Box for $13.25. It just arrived tonight and it is very sturdy.

We also purchase a tape measure for $5.95. Hubby said that he would at least need a 25′ tape measure.

Of course on of the most used tools is a screwdriver. We are starting him out with a Stanley All-in-One Screwdriver for $7.10.

Lastly, I found these needle nose pliers for $4.89. The reason these are included is because they are a great price and I was ordering some anyways for hubby’s stocking!

I thought this ideas would be useful to some of you that still need to order gifts!
