I ventured to Target today on a quest for discounted toys. Unfortunately at my Target the toys were only 30-50% off. I am waiting until the 75% off sale to stock-up on birthday gifts for my boys. I did find some great deals on the Christmas clearance though! All Holiday decor and items were 90% off.
What I scored:
(3) Plastic serving bowls – $0.40 ea. – perfect for gift “baskets”
(5) Crepe Streamers – $0.15 ea. – Birthday party decorations!
(1) Up & Up Candy Cane Hand Soap – $0.13
(7) Ornaments – $0.20 to $0.40 ea. – will be added to gift baskets or placed on gifts next Christmas
(1) Battle Strikers – $2.48 – for my nephew, it goes with a game I bought for Christmas
Total: $6.68
Saved: $35.01
One thing to keep in mind when looking at Christmas clearance is to consider what other uses items have. The bowls, streamers and soap will be used throughout the year.
Have you scored and great deals lately? I would love to hear about them!
Make sure to check out the Kroger deals!

Oh, lucky YOU! I was there earlier this week with whole family (incl hubby) on a mission with a list, and not much time to make it happen…wish I had thought to check out the Holiday section, though I’ve never seen our Target have stuff 90% off…hmmm…maybe I need to go back today? lol ;) Thanks for sharing! :)
Hi Crystal,
I did get lucky! I was surprised at how much my Target had left. There was at least (20) hand soap and (50) ornaments left on the shelf. There was a ton of the party streamers too. I just didn’t need anything else so I was trying to control myself!
Great trip! I haven’t been shopping at Target in a long time!
Shelly,
I hardly ever go to Target! I just happened to stop in on the right day!
Great out-of-the-box thinking there!
Thanks for coming by and linking up!
