Simple Pleasure: Ginger Cookies & Coffee

Do you have an extra bag of Betty Crocker’s Gingerbread Cookie Mix that you didn’t get to make this past December? It’s the perfect, quick cookie mix for these heart-shaped and cute as a button gingersnap cookies!

One bag of mix, a tbsp of water, one egg, a heart shaped cutter and just 30 minutes or less—start to finish! Follow the directions on the bag for your ginger cookies. Roll dough to cut out hearts with your cookie cutter and roll balls for small button size cookies! After cooking, let them cool and add Betty Crocker’s Rich & Creamy Vanilla Icing. Decorate with Valentine colored M & M’s and/or Heart Shaped candies with “Love” sayings: “Love Me”, “Be Mine”, etc.

Set the cookies out on your fine china the night before you want to enjoy them next to your favorite February magazine and cup of coffee!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
