We are planning a couple of vacations this year. The first one is coming up in April- my mom and stepdad will be visiting and we are heading to Williamsburg. We will need to feed four adults and two kids for three days. Since we are staying at a condo, we will bring food to prepare breakfasts, snacks and lunch. I always reserve eating out for dinner when vacationing. By the end of the day, no one want to cook and it is nice to try new restaurants.
To save money while eating out, I research the restaurants at our destination. Just google the city and restaurants and you should find some reviews. Once I find a few interesting places to eat, I head on over to Restaurants.com and order gift certificates at a fraction of the price. Currently Restaurants.com is offering 80% off- get a $25 gift certificate for just $2 with code MEAL.
One thing to keep in mind is that there is a minimum purchase required to use the gift certificate. Since we have a large party, I know we will not have a problem meeting the requirement. Each restaurant has different requirements- make sure to read the fine print.

Do you find that some of these g/c s have an expiration date? I ask only b/c I see a couple of restaurants that I would like to try and my anniversary is later in the year – as usual, I would like to purchase now, while on sale and save a few extra $$. Just didn’t see that in the fine print listed and wondered where I might inquire.
Thanks for posting!
Heather,
The ones I have bought previously were good for one year. I am going to buy one for the Melting Pot right now and I will report back!
Heather,
I bought two and both say there is no expiration date!
