There are numerous tax preparation companies vying for your business this time of year! Here are a few deals that I have come across to help you make the most of tax season.
Jackson Hewitt inside Sears: Score $50 off your next Sears or Kmart purchase when you use a Jackson Hewitt located inside a Sears for your tax preparation. The minimum tax prep fee needs to be over $150 and you need to be a Shop Your Way Member (free to join!).
H&R Block at Home: Free Federal filing of your income tax return. You must pay for the state filing. I have used H&R Block at Home for the last two years and I really like this program!
TaxAct: Free federal filing. Must pay for state return filing.
Turbo Tax: Free federal filing of taxes. Must pay for state return.
If you are going to use an online program, I do suggest you stick with the same one year after year. It is nice to import last years data with ease! Do you do your own taxes or do you have an accountant prepare them?
