As the days warm up, you will need a refreshing juice! What I love about juicing is that you can alter the recipe very easily. Put more or less of the ginger and cilantro based on your tastes. I (Renae) used to strongly dislike cilantro. However, after juicing for over a year, it is something that I really like now! I find myself adding more and more to my juicing recipes!
If you are not a cilantro fan, you just might be when you read the health benefits of cilantro! Some of the health benefits of cilantro are: it aids in digestion, it is an anti-inflammatory, it prevents nausea and it’s a good source of iron.
- one handful of cilantro (depends on your liking),
- half a bag of spinach
- 3 tiny knobs of ginger, peeled (depends on your liking, ginger can be spicy!)
- 2 mini Gala apples
- 6-7 small oranges
- Combine all ingredients into a juicer and juice. Serve chilled.
- Makes just over a pint of juice.
