Quick Tip for Rainchecks

I (Litsa) haven’t had to ask for a raincheck on a sold out product in awhile. However, recently I had returned to Kroger more than once for products that were completely off the shelf. I found myself looking for an associate to help me—-to determine when the product would be restocked! After the time I had invested, I finally pulled out my cell phone! Ta! Da! Camera App—-Click take a PIC! It was the last day of the SALE! I needed this item for the sale price (plus my coupon)—-a great deal! Thus, after I had a picture of the tag and empty shelf——I checked out and headed to the customer service desk for a raincheck ticket. It was easy to pull up the specifics of the item for the store representative to write down on a ticket for me! I wish that I would have taken a picture first—to have saved time looking for this item, searching for a representative to ask about restocking, returning to the store to search again…..etc! Thus, keep this quick tip in mind! Take a picture for raincheck tickets.

If the shelf is empty, take a picture of the item ticket. On your way out of the store, stop in for your raincheck ticket. You’ll be prepared regardless if you return to the store prior to the sale ending or after the sale has ended.
