We planted lemon cucumbers in the garden this year. They are a round yellow colored fruit that measures ranges from 2-3 inches.
The skin has tiny prickers all over it but they can easily be rubbed off. The skin is edible and not as bitter as regular cucumbers.
Lemon cucumbers have a mild sweet taste. We like how small they are, like a personal sized cucumber!
