I couple of weeks ago I shared my Kmart Holiday decoration shopping trip with you. We decorated our front porch and railing this year using items we had combined with items from Kmart. Capt. M likes blue lights so we went with a blue and silver theme. We had blue icicle lights already and I think silver pairs nicely with blue.
My favorite project was the outdoor wreath! I used the New York Yankee ornaments that I splurged on, silver pine cones and a premade blue bow to decorate a fresh pine wreath. I LOVE how it turned out! It’s cute yet classic at the same time. We try to combine decor that is fun for the kids with items I like to.
I always wanted garland draped along our porch railing. Silver ornaments, pine cones and bows make the garland really pop. The mailman gave compliments on our finished project!
We decorated an old tree we had with birdseed ornaments we made from supplies we bought at Kmart. We did have to keep the ornaments up high since one of our dogs kept trying to eat the ornaments!
The blowup snowmen turned out so cute! It was very easy to set up- basically pull it out of the box, spread it out and plug it in. There is a light inside the blowup so you can see it at night too.
And instead of snow this year, we are using leaves! Just kidding! Hubby’s leaf blower broke so we still have a lot of leaf cleanup to go.
