Berries are at their lowest price in the summer months. During this time I buy extra berries to flash freeze. Frozen berries are a great treat by themselves or made into desserts like crisps! This crisp recipe can easily be adapted with any fruit you have on hand whether it be frozen or fresh. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a decadent a la mode! This recipe was adapted from here.
Mix the berries with a little sugar, flour and lemon juice and place in a baking pan.
Combine the rest of the ingredients to form the crisp topping. When the mixture is nice and crumbly, pour over the berries and bake!
