Life With Boys: Fort Building

It has down right cold here in Central Virginia. The boys are basically climbing the walls with energy since they haven’t had much outdoor time. We pulled out the fort kits I had made them for Christmas and it kept them entertained! We used both kits to make a large fort in our loft area.

The loft overlooks our living room so they were able to watch movies from their fort! They also lugged all of their blankets, pillows and stuffed animals upstairs to make a bed. We allowed them to spend the night in their fort and they were sooooo excited!

It’s amazing how changing the scenery really lifts everyone’s moods. The boys were entertained for hours and they were actually excited about bedtime.
