Our boys LOVE ice cream. And I admit it is often our bribe offering. What we have discovered is that buying ice cream out can really add up. A little ice cream shop that we love easily costs us $8 each trip.
What we started doing was making our own ice cream cones at home! I bought a package of ice cream cones from Kroger and two containers of ice cream for about $6.50. It is much more economical to make your own ice cream cones at home!
The only problem is, it is there for us to enjoy everyday! It’s a little hard to resist since I know I can go right to the freezer for a frozen treat!
