My boys both LOVE their LeapFrog LeapPads they received for Christmas last year! I like the fact that they are playing educational games. The other favorite feature is the camera!
LeapFrog has come out with a LeapPad2 recently. That means that the original LeapPad Explorer is on discount! Amazon currently has the LeapPad Explorer on sale for $79 with free super saver shipping.
If you prefer the newer version, LeapPad 2, it currently retails for $99.99.
