I am love with the newly restructured Kroger Fuel Program! In my area, I have always found that Kroger has the cheapest gas prices with the $0.10 off per gallon discount. I seem to always make the $0.10 off per gallon discount since I primarily shop at Kroger.
With the new system you can save up to $1 off a gallon. This is how the new gas rewards points are calculated:
• 100 points = 10¢ off per gallon of fuel for 1 fill-up at Shell.
• 100 points = 10¢ off per gallon of fuel for 1 fill-up at Kroger.
• 200 points = 20¢ off per gallon of fuel for 1 fill-up at Kroger.
• 1,000 points = $1 off per gallon of fuel for 1 fill-up at Kroger.
You can earn points by grocery shopping, filling a prescription or getting double points when you buy gift cards.
At the pump it will ask you if you want to use your points reward. Now I decline if it is only the $0.10 reward. I save up my points to get the bigger discount. The points do not carry over month to month so make sure you use them by months end.
Each Kroger area is a little different as far as the fuel program. Look up the specifics for your area on the Kroger Fuel Saver page.

[…] Last week I paid $3.19 per gallon for gas at our local Kroger. Other gas stations in our area ranged from $3.60 to $3.40 a gallon. I used 200 gas points to score $0.20 off per gallon which worked out to be a pretty good deal! For more info on the gas program, check out my post on Kroger Fuel Program: Save Up to $1 Per Gallon. […]
