I participated in a Blogger Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kidoodle.TV. I received a promotional item and a free trial as a thank you for participating.

Now that children are on Christmas break, you might be looking for an entertainment option. For the month of December, you can try Kidoodle.TV for FREE!

So what is Kidoodle.TV?

Kidoodle is an online video service. It is tailored to children under the age of 12. The cool thing is you can create kid profiles for up to five children in your family. Parents can control the content that each individual child watches. You can pick appropriate age categories like 0-2, 3-4, 5-8 and 9-12. Then you can choose the titles each child is allowed to watch.

There is a parents room that is only accessed with a passcode. You set up the passcode when you register. This allows the parent to control what the child has access too.

Family Game Night

Personally, I turned off the some of the transformer and GI Joe shows. The great thing is that my kids will never even know that these shows were an option! We liked the National Geographic and Zoo Babies videos the best. There are also a couple of game show videos – Family Game Night and the Game of Life. My boys LOVE watching Family Game Night. Both Season 1 and Season 2 are available to view on Kidoodle.

I found it took less than 5 minutes to set up Kidoodle.TV profiles for both of my boys. Once I registered, we had immediate access to Kidoodle.TV. You can select a color for each child’s profile. It is also very easy to maneuver between accounts.

Kidoodle.TV is also available for the iPad or iPhone. The nice thing about this app, is that you can set a time limit! I wish the time limit was available for the computer viewing too!

Kidoodle is also hosting a giveaway! Try Kidoodle.TV for FREE by December 31, 2013 and automatically be entered to win 1 of 10 tablets or 1 of 10 Kidoodle.TV year-long subscriptions! No credit card required during December sign-up. You will receive a notice on January 1, 2014 where you can decide if you want to pay for the service.
