Two books are left in my suitcase for summer reads while traveling abroad—Jennifer Weiner Novels! I (Litsa) picked up both of mine at a local Goodwill store prior to packing our summer luggage. I prefer easy beach side reads about women’s lives! A lifetime of distance……I couldn’t imagine! I love following my mother across the seas to Greece and have for many years. Even across state lines on every three day weekend and long week off of work…when I was in college, a newbie in the teaching profession, a mom at home with one….and although the miles seem longer now, I believe I’m destined to be right there close to my mother and father……always!
So as I begin Fly Away Home today, I’m wondering what else everyone else might be reading…..or of the miles that keep families apart..or the heartaches…the regrets…….the failed promises…….
