At the beginning of December I joined 14 other bloggers in Chicago at the Sara Lee Headquarters. Hillshire Farm is launching the Most Wanted Sandwich Contest with the 15 creative sandwiches submitted by us bloggers. Each blogger submitted a unique sandwich recipe piled high with Hillshire Farm lunch meat and regional flare.
It was a whirlwind trip but we learned so much! We toured the spice and packaging labs at Sara Lee. It was pretty cool to see the top secret spices that make the products taste so great! We also received many tips on preparing fresh foods and food photography that I will be sharing with you over the next few weeks.
Drum Roll Please ….
Yep, that is me and my sandwich The Historic Virginia Stacker!
Now, I need all of your help to win the Most Wanted Sandwich Contest. From now until March 20th, 2011 you can vote once a day for the sandwich that you think is the Most Wanted (of course I would love for you to vote for me!). The first time you register, you will be able to print (2) $1/1 Hillshire Farm coupons. You can vote one time per day for the next two months.
How to Vote:
- Head on over to GoMeat.com
- Click on Vote Now, Save $2
- Look for a picture of The Historic Virginia Stacker at the bottom of the page, and click on it.
- Click “Vote Now” and then download the coupon!
- To view the whole recipe and the secret sauce that makes it sooo good, go HERE.
If I win the Most Wanted Sandwich Contest, I will win $5000 and Hillshire Farm will donate $5000 to that charity of my choosing which is Habitat for Humanity Fluvanna County Division. So what is in it for the readers here at How to Have it All? I will hold a big cash giveaway!
Hillshire Farm provided me with a trip to Chicago in preparation for the Most Wanted Sandwich Contest. All opinions expressed are mine.
