Summer is the perfect time to drink smoothies. Not only are they refreshing on a hot day, but they are a great way to get your greens in! For this green smoothie, Litsa added matcha green tea powder. To add a little protein throw in some whey protein powder and chia seeds. You really can’t go wrong with this green smoothie!
For smoothie making, I like to freeze almond milk into cubes. Not only does it preserve the almond milk but it makes it so I don’t have to add ice to the smoothie!
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 frozen Banana (add more if desired)
- 1 scoop vanilla Whey Protein Powder
- ½ tbsp chia seeds
- ½ teaspoon matcha green tea powder
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add ice as needed/desired.
