Who doesn’t love a good burger!!! This “turkey” burger is literally stuffed with great ingredients that ooze great flavor making it a hit in my book and my belly! YUM!
To make all of your patties a uniform size and shape, use a burger press! There are several burger presses out there that allow you to stuff your burgers!
These stuffed burgers would be great on these homemade whole wheat hamburger buns!
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- ⅓ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- handful cherry tomatoes, sliced
- handful of spinach, chopped
- salt & pepper (to taste)
- ¼ onion, diced (if desired)
- Preheat grill to medium high heat (if grilling).
- In a large bowl use your hands to gently break apart ground turkey, toss in feta cheese, tomatoes, spinach & onion and gently mix---do not overwork it or you’ll squish all your ingredients.
- Divide mix into 3 equal parts and patty into burgers.
- Season with salt & pepper.
- Grill or cook as preferred.
- Serve & enjoy!
