For the second week in a row I am frustrated by my local newspaper’s coupon inserts. I subscribe to the Daily Progress (our local paper) because I do like to receive the local ads. However, I find that a lot of the expected coupons are not found in the Daily Progress.
For the last two weeks retailers such as Rite Aid and CVS have listed coupons to use on products that are on sale that week. For example, the Rite Aid ad has the $5/1 Tylenol Precise coupon listed to use to get the product for free this week. The Daily Progress did not have this coupon nor the $1 off Carefree coupon.
I have found that the Washington Post has more coupons in it than the Daily Progress. If your local paper doesn’t have all of the coupons expected, I encourage you to try a larger paper such as the Washington Post or the LA Times (depends on what area you live in!).
The other option is to order coupons fromĀ The Q Hunter or another clipping service.
How have your Sunday coupon inserts been? Are you receiving all of the expected coupons?

For my second week, coupons are not in the paper like what is posted. I get frusterated 2. And the dollar store keeps telling me that their colored advertisement won’t be out until Saturday, when the specials end? I don’t get it. I never get all the coupons stated in The Springfield Newsleader in Springfield, Missouri. Whats up with that?
That is frustrating Lisa! Is there a paper for a larger city that you have access too? It may be worth subscribing to a larger paper so that you can get the higher value coupons.
