I drink green tea nearly everyday. It’s amazing for your mind and body. We have shared numerous times the benefits of drinking green tea. For this recipe I paired green tea with a sweet infusion of pomegranate juice. This combination will boost your antioxidant intake and you’ll reap the benefits from both drinks!
- 1 quart water
- 2 green tea bags
- ¼ cup sugar (or honey)
- 12 oz. pomegranate juice
- Fresh basil leaves or fresh mint leaves
- Bring 1 quart of water to a boil, add tea bags and steep for 3 minutes.
- Remove tea bags, add sugar, stir to dissolve and set aside to cool completely.
- Once cool add pomegranate juice and a handful of mint or basil leaves.
- Chill or serve over ice and enjoy!
