file it friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

Spinach-Parmesan-Pasta-5

Spinach Parmesan Pasta: This recipe is so simple with only 5 ingredients. Great for a side dish!

Watercolor Coffee Mug: Take a plain white coffee mug and make it an art piece with nail polish! Very pretty! Reading the comments on this tutorial, I’m not certain the paint will stand up to multiple washings. Maybe best done on a vase?

Nested Potato Skins: Make these little potato cups with either fresh grated potatoes or frozen hashbrowns. Load them up with your favorite ingredients!

Hip Flexor Stretches: If you sit all day, your hip flexor muscles are shortening. This can lead to pain in your lower back and legs. Learn how to stretch those hip flexors – something I do regularly!

Avocado, Chicken and Bacon Chopped Salad: This salad looks delicious! I can’t wait to try the dressing recipe: Creamy Basil Dressing.

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
