file it friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

shrimp scallop foil

Shrimp & Scallop Foil Packets: We love using the grill in the summer! Foil packets make for easy cleanup. Shrimp and scallops with grilled veggies sound so good!

Solar System Craft: Use plastic lids to teach kids about the solar system! This would be a fun project on a hot day. Plus it’s a good way to repurpose lids!

Garden Fertilizer: Repurpose “trash” into garden fertilizer! This post tells you how to use coffee grounds, egg shells and banana peels for fertilizer.

German Cucumber Salad: This is a simple side dish that will be perfect for when the garden cucumbers and tomatoes are in full gear!

Bacon+Guacamole+Grilled+Cheese+Sandwich+500+1930

Bacon Guacamole Grilled Cheese: Okay, this has got to be the best sandwich! All of my favorites melted together. Yum!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
