It’s that time of year! Yes! Fall is here. It’s time to buy Mums & pumpkins to decorate your front porch and/or yard. Additionally, it’s time to display your fall decor! Every year I (Litsa) like to change up my decor a little…..
Thus, my five year old and I (Litsa) browsed Kroger, Wal-Mart, & the Dollar Tree for a few new finds to display and use this season! This is what we found:
- A pack of orange and black straws for smoothies, milk, & more at Kroger for only $1.00 a pack
- Chocolate at Wal-mart (for our candy stash—-mostly for us to enjoy….and our guests who venture over for conversation, coffee, playdates….
- Fairy Wings and Pink hair for only $1.00 each at the Dollar Tree
- Dinosaur masks for $1.00 at the Dollar Tree (great colors/styles)–for our Dino Clss
Now, I must say that we found more than we bought but our first trip was to browse and stick to items we needed——-the dress-up wings and hair were promised treasures from refraining from purchasing more expensive items at the festival we attended this past weekend! One crown at the festival cost as much as three dress-up items from the Dollar Tree. Thus, in the process of shopping my daughter is learning how to save and spend wisely!
