triberry cobbler

Fruit cobblers are so easy to make and are always please the crowd. Next to Apple Crisp, a Berry Cobbler is one of my favorite desserts. Not overly sweet but warm and comforting.

TriBerry Cobbler

4 teaspoons butter
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of self-rising flour
1 bag of frozen berries (blueberry, raspberries, & blackberries)*

Place butter in an ungreased baking dish. Allow it to soften in dish while you are gathering and mixing together the cobbler’s batter. Next, pour your small bag of frozen berries into the baking dish. Mix together the three remaining ingredients: milk, sugar, and flour. Pour the mix over the berries. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown on top at 350 degrees.
*Note: You can substitute peaches or apples for Peach Cobbler or Apple Cobbler!

Tips

  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipping cream for an extra treat.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon on top before baking for a different flavor. Cinnamon works well for the peach and apple cobbler.
  • Freeze berries in the summer to use for making cobbler in the winter!
