CVs Shopping trip

I made a trip to CVS this week since I still had a lot of ExtraBucks (ECBs) and there was a deal for contact solution. Hubby really likes the CVS brand multipurpose contact solution- even more than the more expensive brands.

CVS Transaction

All of the following products were part of the buy $3o worth of participating products and get a $10 CVS cash card.

(1) Dawn Hand Renewal, $0.99
$0.50/1 Dawn Hand Renewal, exp. 1/31/12 (P&G 01/01/12)

I had a $5/$25 CVS coupon that was applied. I also used $18.50 in ECB’s from a previous week.

Paid: $6.24

Got Back: $10 CVS cash card

Even though I burned some ECB’s I was able to get products my family needs and uses for a great price!

I went to Dollar General to look for Christmas clearance items. This week items were 50% off.

(2) Christmas Nut Tins, $1.87 ea. (Contains 12 oz. of mixed nuts.)

(1) Sliced Almonds, $1.25

(2) Basket Bags (2 pk.), $0.50 ea.

(1) Gift bag, $1

(1) Christmas Pretzels, $0.50

The nuts I think were the best deal! I took the bag of nuts out of the tins and I will re-purpose the tins.
