Select a stack of Christmas books, pull your little ones (or your big ones) close and read aloud—create memories through reading aloud as a family.
I loved that even Dave Ramsey reminded us of the importance of reading through his post on social media. The stack of books that you select are not as important as the time you spend together. One missing toddler book from our own personal stack was tossed last Christmas since it was coming apart at the seams.
“Mommy, where’s the book that has the Christmas songs in it!?!”
They’ll remember.
So this year, we’ve not only taken time to read new books but we’ve pulled sing along videos from YouTube to view and sing along to together.
Being ONE with your family is a gift that matters.
