Kroger Mega Event Shopping Trip: What $100 Will Get You!

I was on a grocery shopping hiatus for the last few weeks. Before this trip it had been 3 weeks since I had been to Kroger which is my regular grocery store. Needless to say, I had a lot of shopping to do! In fact my trip was not an extreme shopping trip whatsoever. But I am happy to report my shelves, fridge and freezer are full!

I purchased 40 Mega Event items. Most of these items were stockup for lunches- crackers, cereal bars, yogurt, lunch meat, sliced cheese and frozen meals. Missing from the picture are 4 packages of Capri Sun drinks.

I then had to purchase regular items like produce, meat, milk and cheese. I did find a good unadvertised deal on the Knorr Homestyle Stock.

There are four little packs of the Knorr Stock and you add 3 1/2 cups of water to each. So the whole package makes 4 of the large stock cartons that normally cost $2-3 each!

Yes it was a lot out of pocket. But not too bad considering I have not been shopping!
