My parents were never a fan of mushrooms. My husband and daughter don’t eat them either but I like them. Lucky me (Litsa)—they are December’s superfood!
Mushrooms keep me from feeling lousy according to Redbook. “They’re loaded with vitamin D, which can help keep your body’s immune system in fighting form!”
I like the FIGHTING FORM.
“And thanks to riboflavin, an energizing B vitamin, they can help you recover after long nights of _________!”
Well, I don’t think I’d be a fan of mushrooms for breakfast (unless they were on cold, leftover pizza)!?! But I do like these superfood mushrooms on my spinach salads for lunch!
However, YOU prefer your mushrooms grab a fresh set of them and eat up an immune fighting powerhouse food this month!
