Whole Foods Friday Deal: Cherries $1.99/lb.

It’s the peak of cherry season and Whole Foods Market has a great deal this Friday to celebrate! Every Friday Whole Foods offers a product at rock bottom pricing. It is usually something in season and this Friday just happens to be cherries! I will be stocking up on cherries as I don’t know that I have ever seen them for $1.99/lb.!

Cherries freeze well, so don’t be afraid to buy in bulk! All you need to do is pit the cherries and then flash freeze on a cookie sheet. Once the cherries are frozen, place in a freezer plastic bag or container. You can use the frozen cherries for a smoothie or a cherry slushy!

Of course you can always have a cherry spitting contest with your kids too! That is one of my boys favorite things about cherries!
