If you are firing up the grill this weekend, you may want to include your cast iron skillets and a few Vadalia onions!?! They are super sweet raw but when you add a touch of olive oil to the skillet and allow them to simmer until they are brown, you will enjoy a side dish worth savoring!
Caramelized Vadalia onions can be eaten as a side dish or you can add them to your favorite burger and/or steak! Their sheer sweetness may even work on top of a cool spinach salad topped with your favorite nuts and balsamic vinaigrette!
