Using coupons can become sticky at times—$0.50 off cheese, 20% off entire order, $1.25 per bottle…but I (Litsa) can say that the journey is well worth it for our family of three! I envision coupons as CASH TO USE WITH SALES!! Thus, coupons are golden tickets when grocery shopping. I much prefer buying dressing at $1 a bottle rather than $3 or coffee for $4 instead of $9, etc. The savings are minimal when you just use a coupon. However, when you pair your coupons with a SALE the savings are greater! Additionally, you’ll want to maximize savings with apps that give you money back on your purchases. A few of my favorite money saving apps are:
- Ibotta–$123 and earning…yippee!
- Hog Receipt
- Checkout51
- Kroger App (When I see a closeout item, I use the app to look for eCoupons. I load them and use them with the closeout item I have found in Kroger that I want/need.)
Don’t forget to look for coupons in our coupon database if you are only shopping once a week or so! Additionally, don’t miss social media special promos on products such as these:
$4 Cabo Fresh Coupon—pairs well with the Kroger Sales!!
Buy one, get one Cheerios Coupon—Great coupon to share with a friend or family member that enjoys cereal!
If you are not a SavingStar member, you may want to consider joining this network of savings. Each Friday, they have been emailing offers for customers to ACTIVATE. Free tuna, pasta, and AJAX….did you get your free products!?! Get your account ACTIVATED today: HERE!
