It’s the day after Christmas and I need a holiday detox! Don’t get me wrong, we had a wonderful Christmas. But the last three days have been a blur. Cooking, baking, candy making, present wrapping, celebrating and cleaning blur.
There is so much buildup to the big day and then when it’s all over it’s as if you have a “hangover“. Not to mention all of the food we ate! We pretty much ate our way through Christmas day!
Take a little time today to detox from the holidays. Your body needs downtime- the house cleaning and organizing can wait one more day! Although we are enjoying plenty of yummy leftovers, I have also made a point to get some healthier food in my system too. After my nap, I will be juicing so I make sure to get back into my normal eating routine.
Oh, and don’t forget to get a little workout in there too! Even if it’s just a few minutes of yoga, your body will thank you!
