I love going to the beach but I hate sand getting on everything. Sand can be difficult to remove- even from your hands. One little trick is using baby powder when you don’t have access to a sink.

Baby powder absorbs the moisture in the sand making it easy to brush off. I just keep a small container in our beach stuff. When my boys want a snack, I dry their hands and then give them a small amount of baby powder. They rub the powder on their hands and the sand comes off really easy!

  1. I always bring baby powder and a washcloth to the beach. When changing to go home, everyonein the family easily wipes the sand off their arms and legs. Everyone is more comfortable for the 2 hour drive home, and there is less sand in the car.
