Pinterest

Okay Pinterest addicts, I have a little tip for you! I have noticed that there are many spam pins going around. Often times I will see a cool picture or recipe only to click on a link that doesn’t work or goes to an incorrect site. Before I repin something, I always check to make sure everything is on the up and up.

I know your first instinct is to pin, pin, pin. However, take a minute and click on the picture. Make sure the pin actually goes to the correct website for the article, craft, recipe or idea. I have also noticed that some sites steal other peoples content. This hurts bloggers like myself! If I see that the picture is on the site but the posts says something like “click over here for the rest of the instructions”, I don’t repin that pin. I instead go to the original website pin. I would much rather the original poster get the credit than someone that is “stealing” content and images!

Just a little food for thought as you navigate your way through the time suck of Pinterest!
