Over the last couple of years I have traveled by train on several occasions. For me it is easier to take a two hour train ride to Washington DC over a two hour car ride! Plus they have WiFi! I encourage you to look into the train system if you are traveling soon.
Amtrak is holding National Train Day on May 11, 2013. There are several events nationwide to celebrate. Head on over to the National Train Day website and search for an event in your area. They are adding new events all of the time so if you don’t see something in your area now, keep checking back.
