Kroger Double Coupon Policy Discontinuing in Midwest Region

There is bad news for some Kroger shoppers today as Kroger has announced they are discontinuing double coupons in the Daytona/ Cincinnati Region (Midwest Region). This change will take effect on March 1, 2013.

So far I have heard no news of other regions changing their double coupon policy. I HOPE that other regions (including my Mid-Atlantic Region) do not follow suit. The Dallas/ Fort Worth region changed to the no double coupon policy last year though.

Kroger has stated that the everyday prices in the non-doubling regions will be lower. I sure hope that is the case if you are in that region!
