Make an hour of it, a day or just a few minutes——mini memories count! Last year, my sister-in-law and I shopped at a local boutique in town! We talked and shopped for about an hour enjoying four toddlers left behind with grandparents. This year, I’ll miss her company as she’s moved to Cyprus with her family but I look forward to browsing the same boutique around the corner from my home. I think, I’ll look for something for my toddler who puts me on a pedestal. Another gift under the tree will add to her excitement——although I think her favorite gift is time with Mommy! When I asked my husband to watch her for a few minutes while I run this errand tomorrow, she asked, “Mommy, are you going to leave me for just a little bit and come right back?” (Litsa)
