It was a stormy afternoon for much of the south and southeast today. We were lucky to be just on the edge of the storm. Some wind and some rain but not as much as other areas.
Capt. M had a birthday party to attend. As we were driving home the sky was turning black in the direction we were driving. We pulled into the driveway just as it started to rain. We were all looking out the window as we watched a tree fall across our driveway- less than 5 minutes after I had driven down it!
Thankfully nothing was damaged. The tree came to a rest right up against our well pipe- gently resting beside it.
I hope you all have escaped damage too!

Wow – what a blessing to have missed that falling tree. We had a lot of wind where I am at today, but thankfully not so much as to blow down a tree.
