I am so excited to announce that I have been published! I have been working with Chef Boyardee on an eBook that recently went live. I would love for you all to check out the book- The Little Chefs Project: A Collection of Kid Friendly Tips, Tricks and Recipes for Fun in the Kitchen. I worked on the section called Family Time.
As a busy working mom, I struggle to find enough family time. I have incorporated family time into the dinner prep to catch every spare minute of time with my guys. Hubby has recently struck an interest in cooking and I am teaching him a few things. Hubby and I preparing meals together is a great way to catchup on the days happenings. My boys also love to help stir, pour, watch and be involved in the decisions on what we are making. I often give them choices on foods- do you want carrots or broccoli? Giving them a voice helps ensure they will actually eat it!
Chef Boyardee wants to make it easy for you and your family to cook together. There are several Chef Boyardee recipes available that are quick and easy. Yes, I said recipes! Chef Boyardee can be more than popping the top on a can of raviolis! Along with the recipes, there are Cooks Tips on how to get the kids involved in the preparation.
