During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.
I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!
This weeks File it Friday ideas:
Caramel Apple Bites: This is a GREAT idea; especially if you have young kids who can’t eat a whole caramel apple.
Healthy Baking Substitutions: I have never heard of some of these substitutions such as using avocado in baking instead of butter! It would be fun to experiment with these ingredients in order to make recipes healthier!
Soup or Sauce Mix: There is a recipe on this blog for SOS mix. This mix can be used to make many recipes! It is a dry mix that is mixed with water to substitute any cream soup. This seems like it would be much cheaper! Plus there is a free cookbook download on how to use the SOS mix!
Homemade Soft Caramels: Yummy! These soft caramels look so good! I am putting this on my candy “to do” list!
I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
