I made several stops on my shopping adventure today. I took the time to plan out my trip so most of my stops were fairly quick.
Rite Aid
I had a $3 off $15 coupon for Rite Aid that was about to expire. Not wanting to loose that $3, I came up with a little scenario. I was at the store 5 minutes after they opened. There were hardly any Lysol products left so my plan changed quickly. Originally I was only going to buy 2 toothbrushes. Without the Lysol, I needed to add another brush to make it to $15. When I went back for the 3rd brush, the stock was almost gone (we are talking 3 minutes here!). In that 3 minutes I think 10 toothbrushes flew off the shelf. Anyways, my transaction was as follows:
(3) Reach Toothbrushes, $2.99
–get $2 ECB wyb 1
Used $3/3 Coupon
(1) Blink, $7.99
–get $7.99 Single Check Rebate
Used $3/$15 coupon (handed over this coupon before any other coupons to keep my total above $15)
Used $0.88 in +UP
Paid: $10.45
Got Back: (3) $2 +UPs, submit for $7.99 SCR
CVS
I went to CVS for the Allegra deal. Can’t pass up “free” allergy medication this time of year!
Allegra (5 ct.), $6.99
Used $2/1 Allegra coupon
Used $2.50 in ECBs
Paid: $2.49
Got Back: $6.99 in ECBs
Kroger
No, I don’t always pose with my shopping trip pictures- although I am really proud of this trip! Funny thing is that I had a request for a picture for an interview I did. I forgot to take a picture of my shopping trip without me to post here!
I went to two Kroger stores this week since I was buying several of the same items. I did not want to clear the shelves so I split my trip between two stores.

Saved: $40.05 (87%)
Store #2
I didn’t take a picture of my purchase from store #2. I did purchase 30 Mega Event items- more pasta, pet food and some other items. You can find the list of Mega Event items HERE and HERE.
I also purchased 2 gallons of milk, produce, 2 loaves of bread and other dairy products.
Paid: $37.20
Saved: $72.70 (66%)
If you don’t have a pet, the animal shelters would love some donations!
I was very pleased with my shopping trips today. My Kroger shopping left me on cloud nine for the rest of the day!
How did you do; score any good deals this week?
