April is the month that we all celebrate EARTH DAY so I’m deeming April as EARTH MONTH! There are so many, many ways that we can celebrate our earth this month and every day with GREENER living! How are you involving your family in this green movement? Here at the Jackson household, we are recycling metal—–our old furnace that we replaced in January, aluminum cans, & odds and ends from the construction business! Additionally, we’re planting petunias, potato vines, dividing our Hostas, and spreading out our Hydrangeas. On cooler spring days, the A/C is on the “OFF” position and I’m even discussing with my husband why it’s important for us to live frugally! I’m not winning on putting the house up for sale to live in less square footage but it just might go on the market if we win this HGTV Green Home Giveaway!
Wasn’t it last month that a Pennsylvania resident won the 2012 HGTV Dream Home? I love these sweepstakes and the stories that follow them! Thus, I wanted to share my love of Earth Month and sweepstakes by sharing this GREEN one with you today!
