Garden Update: Fruit Tree Blossoms & Seedlings

We have had an early Spring in Central Virginia. Our peach tree has already bloomed and has itty bitty peaches on it! We are hoping for a large crop this year as our peach tree is 3 years old this year.

The apple tree is full of blossoms. We planted the apple trees last year so we are a bit surprised to see so many blossoms this year. Right now we are just enjoying the beautiful flowers!

A couple of weeks ago we planted green bean seeds. The ground started to crack this week as the seedlings emerged! The ground looks dry in this picture but it was actually still moist. We had a downpour of rain which packed the soil down.

The peas are coming up too! We planted sugar snap peas and snow peas this year. Capt. M just loves peas! I also harvested some kale that was still growing from last Fall. I have a tutorial coming soon on how to freeze kale.

How is your garden growing? Have you started yet?
